The American Heart Association offers online blended learning CPR training courses. You must complete an American Heart Association online course, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on skills session with an American Heart Association instructor.
Yes, the AHA offers blended learning courses. A student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner online, followed by a hands-on skills session in person with an AHA Instructor or using a Voice Assisted Manikin (VAM) where available.
It is best to verify with the company requiring you to have a CPR card. However, the BLS (CPR & AED) class is recommended for healthcare professionals or anyone needing CPR & AED training. While the First Aid, CPR AED class is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.
Once a student purchases, we will email you the instructions to activate and complete the online portion of the course.
Yes. Students can log in and out as many times as they choose. However, the written exam must be
taken in one sitting.
Yes, students may access all material included in the online portion for 24 months following initial activation of their course.
Upon successful completion of the online portion including the course exam, students receive a
certificate of completion, which they must present for entry into an Instructor-led hands-on skills session.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a 2-year certification card the same day!
Our CPR and first aid courses involve hands-on practice sessions, so wear something comfortable. If you have long hair, it is best to wear it back.
